Cross Country
Member coaches of the Texas Girls Coaches Association
have the privilege
of nominating an outstanding athlete to be
named as Athlete of the Year in Cross
Country.
must be a member in good standing by the membership nomination deadline. This
also applies to Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and All-Star Coach honors.

Nominees must fulfill the following requirements:
1. May be selected from any grade level from 9-12;
2. Be an outstanding athlete in Cross Country;
3. Demonstrate positive character traits
(honesty, loyalty, leadership, cooperative
attitude).
The Athletes of the Year will be selected for Cross
Country at the Cross Country State Meet;
one athlete from a 1A-2A-3A-4A
school and one athlete from a 5A-6A school.
