GUIDELINES FOR DVD’s

The Volleyball Committee recommends that nomination forms be accompanied
by a school volleyball schedule, statistics, and a DVD of the nominee.
The DVD should denote the nominee's number and color of uniform.

1. Match play (competition)

Identify your jersey number and color, major offensive position,

major defensive position, and team played against.

AND/OR

2. Skills - Limit to 5 - 10 minutes

Shot from floor level (wide angle)

a. Attacking skills: -left, middle, right

b. Blocking skills: -jumping ability, arm movement, movement (lateral)

c. Serve reception: -with movement (lateral, forward/back)

d. Ball handling skills (setting): -from various court positions

e. Defensive skills:

1. Pepper

2. Sprawls, rolls, diving, etc.

3. Try to focus on specific player during game.

4. DVD’s will not be returned.

Nominees will NOT be disqualified due to the absence of a DVD.
