VOLLEYBALL ALL-STAR COACHES SELECTION PLAN

I. MEMBER VOLLEYBALL COACHES

TGCA member volleyball coaches may nominate two coaches from their section of the state (East or West) and division (1A-2A-3A or 4A-5A) for the East-West volleyball All-Star teams. Boundaries are defined in the volleyball instructions and guidelines.

ONLY VARSITY GIRLS VOLLEYBALL COACHES ARE ELIGIBLE TO COACH THE ALL-STAR TEAMS AND MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE TGCA BY NOVEMBER 1. As of the 2007-08 school year TGCA members selected as All-Star coaches may serve as an All-Star coach twice per sport, once as the head coach and once as the assistant.

II. VOLLEYBALL COMMITTEE CHAIR

The Volleyball Committee Chair shall present a list of all coaches who have been nominated as an All-Star Coach to the Volleyball Committee at their scheduled meeting during the state volleyball tournament. The Committee will make final selections.

III. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Executive Director shall verify the selected coaches and notify them of this

selection in writing.
