TGCA Cross Country

General Nomination Instructions

and Guidelines

Coaches may use official nomination forms on the web-site OR request forms to be faxed or mailed.

November 1 is the last day for Cross Country coaches to become a member of the TGCA and be eligible to nominate athletes for Cross Country honors. The head varsity coach of any athlete or support staff receiving an award must be a member in good standing by the membership nomination deadline. This also applies to Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and All-Star Coach honors.

Monday noon prior to the Cross Country State Meet is the deadline for on-line nominations. All nominations after that date shall be sent to the regional representative for submission to the Committee at the Committee meeting, except Academic All-State. Those nomination forms, after the on-line deadline, shall be sent to the TGCA office.

All nomination forms must be sent to TGCA by:

Submitting online at www.austintgca.com.

Mailing to TGCA at 1603 Manor Road, Austin, TX 78722.

Faxing to TGCA at 512-708-1325.

Any nomination received after the Committee meeting will be invalid, except Academic All-State. The deadline will be rigidly enforced by policy of the TGCA Board.
